HANDHELD ULTRASOUND

Procedure Oriented Ultrasound

SC1

Innovation in Ultrasound Intervention

  • You can know the expected path before inserting the needle.
  • You can easily set up a route to avoid dangerous areas in the body.
  • You can easily check the position of the needle tip.

Show the needle position icon relative to the probe

When the needle tip reaches the ultrasound image through the OOP(Out of Plane), the needle icon is changed from red to green.
So you can see exactly when you need to stop inserting the needle.

Show the expected needle path and the expected destination of the needle tip on the ultrasound image

The expected path of the needle will be marked on the ultrasound image by AR(Augmented Reality). When the needle tip reaches the ultrasound image through the OOP, the box changes to green, and you must stop inserting the needle.

Applications

  • Thyroid FNA
    (Fine Needle Aspiration)

    Better in tip confirmation

    Reduce false negative rate

  • CVC (Central Venous Catheter)
    IJ (Internal Jugular Vein)

    Benefits with OOP approach

    Avoid medical malpractice

  • Regional Anesthesia & Pain Management

    No more blind procedure

    Higher 1st attempt success rate

  • Facial Procedure

    Benefits with OOP approach

    Patient safety

  • Targeted Drug Delivery

    Maximize drug effects

    Minimize side effects

  • Infusion at Home / Nursing Home

    No more blind procedure

    Higher 1st attempt success rate

  • MSK
    (Intra-articular injection)

    Benefits with OOP approach

    Avoid mal-injection case

  • Ultrasound-based
    Tele-medicine

    Safe procedure anywhere

    Gateway to medical doctors
